3. Spend time on the uncrowded Dunes.
No list of Silver Lake to-dos would be complete without the Dunes. Opening on April 1st, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes boast the most this area has to offer from hiking trails and a sandy beach to rolling sand hills that are perfect for a wild ride on your ORV.
Spring is the ideal time to visit the great sand mountains as summer visitors haven’t yet visited and the Dunes are less crowded.
